Job Summary/Description:
WWBT 12 On Your Side the #1 news organization in Richmond VA seeks a fulltime producer for onair and online. Must have solid news judgment possess strong leadership skills and be able to perform well under pressure. Team player with the ability to work in an intense breaking news environment. Must be a strong writer for television and our station website.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
A successful candidate must have solid news judgment possess strong leadership skills and be able to excel in a breaking news environment.
A successful candidate will produce newscasts for TV as well as our digital platforms and social media.
Must demonstrate leadership skills work well with others have a college degree professional digital social media experience and a firm grasp of SEO techniques.
Work schedule may include days nights and weekends.
Previous experience required.
