Description
Palmer College of Chiropractic is looking for a Transcript Analyst!
The Transcript Analyst is responsible for the analysis of academic transcripts for prospective students and applicants. Additionally this job performs general clerical duties as assigned.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate academic transcripts and determines grade point averages
- Reevaluate applications processes relevant information and updates files
- Contact students or institutions regarding application or transcript questions
- Refer specific applications to the Admissions Director for review
- Counsel applicants on course requirements and scheduling
- Maintain compliance with applicable admissions standards criteria and regulations
- Prepare reports and performs/assists with other general administrative clerical duties
- Maintain clerical library
- Perform change of status for incoming students
- Prepare and distribute hold list and incoming student list for Registrar Financial Aid and Business Office
- Create and audit all admission files
- Generate correspondence for prospective and incoming students
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree with one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to perform assigned duties with time pressures and frequent interruptions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to utilize necessary equipment
- Ability to work various hours as job requires
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Performs sedentary to light work in a ventilated lighted and temperaturecontrolled office setting
- Frequent need to stand stoop walk sit lift objects (up to 10 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the workday.
