Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for slot machine repairs and technical maintenance.

Job Description:

Installs tests and maintains electronic gaming equipment and components systems and subsystems required for continuous and efficient business operations. Makes required adjustments repairs and/or replaces such equipment when needed. Performs duties of Slot Attendant/Host when needed to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum performance of all slot machines on the casino floor.

Knowledge Skills & Education Preferred:

High School diploma or equivalent. Must possess a set of hand tools sufficient for completion of assigned duties. 1 2 years of technical training proficient in the use of tools of the trade including hand power and machine equipment testing devices and instruments preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino. Must be able to stand stoop bend as well as lie on back to work inside the confines of a slot cabinet for long periods of time; must be able to push and lift weight up to 75 pounds; must be able to see small objects in poorly lit areas; must be able to work in areas containing high noise levels and secondary smoke; must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations; must be able to read write speak and understand English; must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

Licensing and Certification Required:

Employees may be required to obtain a Missouri Gaming Commission license. This license is paid for by the employee through payroll deduction. Harrahs Entertainment Inc. pays for the annual renewal fees.
