Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company is a vertically integrated musculoskeletal outcomes management company. HOPCo manages physician practices hospital service lines population health and valuebased care programs and musculoskeletal delivery networks.
As HOPCo continues to grow we are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager.Please see below for the functions and requirements for this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead a team of Accounts Payable Processors by overseeing training coaching motivating setting goals and planning work assignments
- Manage payment disbursements and oversee the processing of payment batches payment exception handling direct deposits and returned checks
- Perform monthend Accounts Payable closing duties and complete monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Research and problem solve invoice discrepancies to ensure ontime payment and identification of process improvements
- Work closely with stakeholders corporate functions and vendors to continuously improve ProcuretoPay processing to increase efficiency and accuracy which includes automation project initiatives testing new functionality and supporting system upgrades
- Ensuring timely annual reporting of Form 1099s
- Ensure compliance with company policies and support both Internal and External audits
- Coordinate and effectively communicate with various teams throughout the company and all levels of management regarding accounting results
- Partner with functional teams to understand operational changes and subsequent impact on financial results
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement committed to quality communication and eagerness to collaborate
EDUCATION
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting is required
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum four years of accounting and/or finance experience
- Experience with financial closes including review reconciliation and preparation of P&L BS and CF statement accounts
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP reporting standards
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
- Proven ability to meet deadlines prioritize quickly and deliver results
- Strong communication skills to convey financial results to nonfinancial leaders
- Strong computer skills: Excel
- Desire for continuous learning and growth
Preferred Qualifications / Nice to have
- Licensed CPA or qualified candidate
- Big 4 / Consulting and/or PEowned firm experience
- Healthcare / Hospital Mgmt experience
- M&A experience
- Experience with Microsoft D365 and Coupa
