About Us: MedLink Georgia is a communitybased nonprofit organization providing highquality affordable primary care to patients across Northeast Georgia. At our Banks Imaging location we serve a diverse population with a focus on accessible compassionate family medicine.
Position Overview: MedLink Banks is seeking a reliable and customerserviceoriented Front Office Assistant to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming efficient and organized front desk experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage checkin and checkout processes
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and update patient records
- Collect copays and outstanding balances
- Answer multiline phone system and route calls appropriately
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Support clinic operations by collaborating with providers and clinical staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical front office or customer service role preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus)
- Strong communication organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
