Job Description

RAPP Detroit is looking for an Associate Director Program Management to join our awardwinning Program Management team.

Part of Omnicoms Precision Marketing Group RAPP is comprised of 2000 creatives technologists strategists and data and marketing scientists across 15 global markets

YOUR ROLE:

You will be the daytoday manager of the client relationship; a brand champion an agency facilitator and a trusted partner to both clients and your team. You are an advisor and partner and build relationships with the client at the marketing/category director levels. You have developed a keen ability for managing client based multidiscipline projects across the agency matrix crossholding company partners and external agency partners. Alongwith your supervisor you will steward all elements of the engagement including project management: project definition scope management risk management handoff management and team management. You have natural curiosity and are motivated by driving excellent results time and time again.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the planning and execution of a simultaneous integrated projects
  • Leads project direction collaborating with crossfunctional teams to define and redefine project specifications (goals budget schedule and scope)
  • Collaborates with disciplines across the agency to deliver worldclass work and meet client objectives
  • Key client contact regarding project deliverables progress solutions financials
  • Lead and mentor Project Managers and Sr. Project Managers
  • Author and review program SOWs and estimate documentation
  • Maintain responsibility for development and management of timelines quality and profit margins related to agency deliverables
  • Resolve critical timeline issues and implications
  • Build strong working relationships with internal team(s) as external partners and vendors
  • Oversee internal accountrelated meetings including weekly producer/account status meetings internal reviews etc.
  • Direct resource management against deliverables ensuring alignment against work and required times throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead financial management and budget tracking; manage and own project financials
  • Risk management proactively mitigating risks and comfortable driving solutions to adapt to changes from inception or project to delivery
  • Drive project measurement reporting and analysis
  • Evaluate and optimize production workflows and processes
  • Proficient with programs such as Visio Excel PPT and MS Project
  • Experience with project management/workflow tools such as Workfront and Jira

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
  • 79 years of industry experience producing and project management at a media entertainment or creative brand and/or interactive advertising agency
  • Working knowledge & understanding of web technologies including HTML DHTML content management systems and deployment platforms etc.
  • Direct Marketing and CRM experience an advantage
  • Experience in print production/ execution process a plus.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Possess an established track record of successful accomplishment with clients / teams
  • Excellent documentation and presentation development such as financial reports proposals roadmaps and workflows
  • Strong communication and presentations skills capable of presenting solutions in a clear logical manner
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Must have strong leadership skills and ability / desire to mentor junior PM talent (if applicable.)

This range is specific to Detroit and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill set experience and training certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
