Job Description
Founded in 2013 Voodoo is a tech company that creates mobile games and apps with a mission to entertain the world. Gathering 800 employees 7 billion downloads and over 200 million active users Voodoo is the #3 mobile publisher worldwide in terms of downloads after Google and Meta. Our portfolio includes charttopping games like Mob Control and Block Jam alongside popular apps such as BeReal and Wizz.
Voodoo has just launched Carbon a music streaming app that aims to become a major player in the industry.
Starting with a focus on Electronic music and with a goal to expand to other genres in the future Carbon is completely rethinking the music streaming model to remunerate artists better offer a brand new experience for music discovery and much more.
Carbon is divided into Publishing (sourcing artists and providing top content) Product (developing the platform) and Growth (user acquisition). You would be integrating the Publishing team.
Role
- Sourcing highpotential labels and distributors
- Onboarding labels and distributors once signed and nurture the business relationship
- Conduct research and benchmark what our competitors are doing experiment new ideas
- Assist in creating and launching original and innovative marketing campaigns that stand out and captivate audiences for Carbons brand
Profile
- Toptier engineering or business school
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Passionate about the music industrySensitivity to music and musical phrasing in general
- Analytical and numbersdriven
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to give feedback
- Fluent in English and French
