20% | Member Service and Satisfaction Integrate a member and customer focus into the overall strategic plan. Manage the member environment to assure that road service needs are being met and meeting targets. |
20% | Operations Management Prioritize projects and initiatives managing them through delegation and staff accountability. Recognize inefficient processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Facilitate and implement continuous improvement programs to achieve Club objectives. Conduct ongoing analysis of departmental data to maintain continuous improvement efforts.Monitor and maintain program compliance to standards and shared service best practices. Resolve concerns by working directly with other business lines to ensure total satisfaction. Assist in the development and implementation of new technologies practices and business plans designed to improve member service. Solicit information from front line asscoiate to better understand working environment and opportunities to improve member service. |
20% | Strategic Planning and Fiscal Responsibility Develop and manage the Fleets strategic business plans systems and initiatives to meet organization goals by continuously improving member service reducing cost of service improving efficiency and promoting staff development. Adjust plans as needed to support a dynamic fastpaced 24/7 service environment. Develop and manage fleet departmental and related program budgets. |
20% | Technical Knowledge Understand and utilize AAA systems following established policies and guidelines to manage and resolve inquiries or issues. Keep current on automotive trends and technologies. AAA National and AAA Western and Central New York goals standards and expectations. Demonstrate a high degree of knowledge in emergency road service call center operations and AAA/CAA products; exhibits an strong working knowledge in call process and the technology that supports these processes. Ensures compliance with safety OSHA DMV and DOT requirements |
Job Specific Requirements
- Strong knowledge of both AAA and industry road service operations and procedures is preferred. Demonstrated excellent decisionmaking problemsolving and planning skills to contribute to the overall development of the management team fleet staff and achievement of Club objectives.
- Ability to forecast appropriate staffing levels needed for increased/decreased service volume.
- Strong knowledge in developing work schedules to meet Club needs and to provide elite member service.
- Demonstrated business skills as required for a manger level position.
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office products and ability to effectively navigate multiple systems.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing and able to travel as needed to meet the requirements of the position and maintain a valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record
Physical Requirements
*Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time sitting filing and communicating on the phone
*Ability to perform all physical functions consistent with travel including sitting in airplanes and driving for long periods of time
*Must be able to lift carry push pull a maximum of 30 lbs
