The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web) AI/ML marketing technology enterprise communications travel and lifestyle and automation grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. ABOUT THE ROLE:
Tock is a hospitality technology platform that powers restaurants around the world and a consumerfacing reservation platform for passionate diners. Since its inception in 2014 Tock has created bestinclass software that elevates dining experiences and connects restaurants to a growing network of highly engaged diners. At Tock we are tackling hard problems with elegant solutions and scaling very quickly. As an engineer you will play a crucial role in taking our product to the next level. The ideal candidates can work quickly and produce wellarchitected solutions collaboratively. Specifically you will help:
- Build new services to power our industryleading hospitality management software.
- Improve the reliability and availability of our systems.
- Work on crossfunctional initiatives and collaborate with Engineers across the organization.
- Influence team members with creative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking
- Be a productivity multiplier for your team by analyzing your workflow and contributing to enable the team to be more effective productive and demonstrating faster and stronger results.
What were looking for:
- 3 years of experience in building large scale distributed applications with objectoriented design usinga modernjava stack.
- Holds a masters or bachelorsdegree in computer science Information Systems or other related field (or has equivalent work experience).
- Understand all parts of a modern webbased application stack from Frontend to Backend and Production.
- Experience with distributed systems algorithms and databases. Experience with web services and API development on enterprise platforms using RESTGraphQL andgRPC.
- Experience with Dockerand public cloud (AWS orGCP)deploymentis a plus.
Salary Range: $85000.00 to $150000.00 annually bonus benefits
