Job Description
Were looking for bold curious and battletested Java engineers ready to architect the systems that will drive the future of AI at RealPage.
As a Senior Java Engineer youll play a pivotal role in building our nextgeneration integration platformone that fuels intelligent automation realtime decisionmaking and seamless crossproduct data flow. Your mission: eliminate integration friction enable AI at scale and empower teams to move faster.
Youll join one of two elite teams:
- Tooling & Enablement Team Builds internal SDKs frameworks and selfservice integrations that make life easier for product developers.
- Streaming Integrations Team Connects our platform to thirdparty property management systems using Kafka REST and secure API pipelinesmaking realtime data accessible to AI services.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and ship Spring Boot services and REST APIs used by multiple products and AI services across our platform.
- Build reusable integration tools that reduce boilerplate and multiply team productivity.
- Stream realtime data from Kafka into and out of thirdparty systems ensuring our AI agents have what they need to act in milliseconds.
- Harness AI development tools to improve code quality speed and test coverage.
- Partner with architects product leaders and AI teams to turn integration into a strategic advantage not a bottleneck.
- Lead by examplewriting clean testable code and mentoring others in best practices and scalable design.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION
- 5 years of handson experience with Java Spring Boot and building realworld backend systems.
- Deep understanding of API design service resilience and secure thirdparty integrations.
- Practical experience with Kafka eventdriven systems and streaming architectures.
- Strong skills in SQL and cloudaware application development.
- An appreciation for tools that speed you upAI pair programmers linters static analysis CI/CD.
- A platform mindsetyou love building things that help other engineers move faster.
- Clear communication ownership mentality and a strong desire to build something that matters.
