At Incorta We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer in Test to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer in Test you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers architects and product managers to deliver highquality software solutions. If you are passionate about testing and automation have a strong technical background strong engineering principles and methodical problemsolving skills and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment this role is perfect for you.
YOU WILL
- Develop test automation and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
- Identifies gaps in functional test automation document missing coverage and adds new test automation to improve coverage.
- Refine tests at all levels to ensure efficient coverage and effective deduplication.
- Take initiative to recommend new approaches and processes that will improve our quality productivity and velocity.
- Create and refine deploy processes and deployment scripts and build pipelines.
- Ensure that pipeline failures are triaged addressed and communicated in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools techniques and methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers to determine testing coverage needs and provide feedback on functionality.
- Partner with the development team to review specifications and offer feedback from an engineering standpoint or based on testing results.
- Troubleshoot issues and bugs discovered in testing staging and production to determine the root cause.
- Establish an enterprisewide test automation framework standard toolsets and overall test procedures to maximize performance.
- Develop tests to measure throughput and latency.
YOU HAVE
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a Test or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium Playwright Appium or JUnit.
- Good knowledge of Cloud Testing & Technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Experience working with popular operating systems including Windows and Linux.
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying updated with industry trends.
