The Role
Leading independent girls school Camberwell Girls Grammar School presents an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Educational Support Assistant to join our team on a parttime basis (approx. 0.5 FTE) working 2.5 days per week on Monday Wednesday and either Thursday or Friday.

This position is to be worked during term time only and is for a fixed term period of 12 months commencing immediately.

Reporting into the Head of Learning Diversity (Senior School) you will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students through the provision of instructional support and social skills support as required.

You will make an impact by:

• Working with students and staff within the Response to Intervention Framework
• Providing support to teachers and students through the provision of instructional support and social skills support as required
• Supervising and supporting students who have Individual Learning Plans/Individual Education Plans as required
• Supervising and supporting individual students as required

To be successful in this role
You will commit to the philosophy of inclusive education and have the ability to be selfmotivated to work autonomously and be proactive.

You will have:

• Experience in supporting students with learning needs (Essential)
• Qualification/s of relevance such as a Certificate in Education Support (or working towards a relevant qualification) (Desirable)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Criminal Record Check
