Job Description
We have an awesome opportunity for a Melt Deck Leader with our client in Paris. This is a growing organization that has just completed a massive expansion with more to come in the near future.
We are on the hunt for a talented Melt Deck Leader that can provide consistent and accurate product throughout their day to help support the production team in their work. This is a great role for someone with melting experience that is looking to move into a leadership role.
In this role you will be doing the following work:
Adding raw material to the furnace to ensure a smooth and consistent melt
Safely operating the furnace
Slagging
Tapping the furnace with the poorer for safe transfer of metal
Gathering and sorting remelts
taking temps using the pyometers
Rebuilding and relining furnaces and ladles
Requirements:
Ability to work in a foundry setting and environment
Previous experience working with molten steel
Reliability and Dependability
Training will be provided
Benefits:
Straight day shift (6:00am to 3:00pm Mon to Thurs and 6:00am to 10:00am on Fridays)
Unlimited overtime is available
