Description:
- The Senior Specialize IT Consultant will lead multiple client implementations of the OPSdocs service. They will work with a team to introduce a comprehensive technology platform technical strategy and integrated architecture. This work may include providing strategic guidance regarding Information Management (IM) technology IT infrastructure and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
Key deliverables for this position:
- Act as the key liaison between the project and stakeholders including other I&IT clusters Ministry program areas and other delivery partners such as ITS.
- As the senior technical advisor/expert coordinate all aspects of OPSdocs implementation deliverables including the supervision of consultants where appropriate.
- Plan timelines and the resources needed.
- Anticipate and resolve problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget to the highest quality meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Identify conflicts and communicate deliverable conflicts or issues to the engagement lead or client manager.
- Build positive relationships by developing an understanding of business and deliverable needs.
- Develop mechanisms frameworks processes and procedures for implementing the deliverables.
- Prepare implementation plans reports presentations including options recommendations designs strategies and changemanagement options etc.
- Work with business analysts to translate the business requirements and functional specifications into an application design appropriate to meet the business and operational/IT needs and define project scope. Assist with the development of business requirements.
- Identify project and strategic risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Apply the best practices in design build development and deployment to meet the functional and nonfunctional requirements adhering to GOITS standards and internal branch standards.
- Present solutions in written or oral reports.
- Prepare documentation and present progress reports to clients.
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices
