Retail Merch Lead

WHAT YOULL DO   

As the Retail Merch Lead you are responsible for: 

Allocation & Campaign SetUp 

• Set and execute allocation strategy together with IOL based on commercial priorities. 

• Align campaign plans and allocate stock accordingly across all stores. 

• Act on delays substitutions and commercial actions with HOM and IOL.  

• Follow up incomings and delays in campaign articles. 

• Act on key products/ garment groups strategic divers and allocation strategy and selection. 

Implement & execute regional merchandising strategy and commercial priorities

• Execute regional assortment direction in close alignment with regional team. 

• Optimize local selling peaks driven by calendar and customer shopping behavior. 

• Be responsible for all information including but not limited to kick off sale packs BFpacks deal packs and any direction pack for commercial execution.    

• Know your market retail situation competitive landscape and customer profile.   

• Be up to date with assortment and demand & inventory strategy. 

Drive in and post season inventory management

• Pick full price discount and sale activities in line with local and regional direction.  

• Execute stock management sale and EOP in line with the local and regional strategy. 

• Execute guidelines related to assortment and allocation top level and detail them for your markets. 

• Followup on store stock and resolve issues together with inventory optimization team. 

• Execute regional strategy for commercial impact on key product categories (including different store segments) and (re)act based on in season performance.  

Follow up and inform about progress

• Provide the commercial team with constant & structured sales followup for the channel. 

• Review your commercial plan periodically and suggest improvements for next year. 

• Follow up commercial initiatives in store (travel two days a week) to confirm or adjust actions needed to meet the regional merchandising strategy. 

• Followup commercial results and KPIs and benchmark between areas sales markets and other regions. 

WHO YOULL WORK WITH   

As a Retail Merchandiser Lead you are a key member of the merchandising team you will be reporting to the OMNI Head of Merchandising and you will collaborate regularly with other functions in the local market such as Country Visual Marketing and the Warehouse team as well as Regional teams in Sweden. 

WHO YOU ARE   

We are looking for people who are 

• Salesdriven and have a strong commercial awareness and salesmanship. 

• Strong in driving commercial product excellence analytical to follow up and estimate performance. 

• Collaborative with excellent communication and presentation skills. 

•  Able to work independently and be selfmotivated while still working within a team environment and fostering a strong team collaboration. 

We are looking for people with 

• 13 years of experience within merchandising inventory optimization or supply and demand planning. 

• Proven experience in executing commercial plan. 

• Strong Knowledge in operating merchandising systems tools methods. 

• Retail knowledge: Deep expertise in retail operations and market trends. 

• Previous experience in post season stock management.
