Job Description
Just like our progress on the track at Atlassian Williams Racing we are striving to strengthen our highperformance culture across the organisation including a programme of finance transformation. This role is designed to be projectfocused at the outset with an initial emphasis on enhancing our inventory reporting. The successful candidate will be comfortable working closely with finance and business stakeholders to drive improvements and build a strong platform for bestinclass financial reporting and analysis.
Key Accountabilities:
Inventory Reporting Project:
Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to analyse current inventory processes and identify areas for streamlining and improvement.
Develop and enhance inventory reporting systems focusing on automating manual processes.
MonthEnd Financial Reporting:
Calculate the monthly inventory provision.
Review of balance sheet reconciliations.
Support and cover for other team members.
Internal audit to review and rationalise monthend procedures and accounting policies.
General Finance Transformation Projects:
Representation of the financial accounting function in growth and transformation projects.
LongTerm Responsibilities:
Transition to a more standard financial accounting role taking responsibility for the monthend close process and ensuring technical accuracy of assigned business areas.
The role holder will have significant opportunity to drive the activities and progression of the role as the finance team at Williams grows and transforms.
Qualifications :
Qualificatons and Experience Level:
Qualified Accountant: ACA ACCA CIMA with a few years postqualification experience.
Manufacturing Environment Experience: Experience with inventory accounting is preferable.
Accounting Principles: Solid understanding required.
Process Improvement: Proven ability to manage and improve financial processes.
Skills: Problemsolving analytical mindset attention to detail strong communication skills robust Excel skills experience with PowerBI and D365 beneficial.
