What youd be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. This will give you a taste of the type of things youll be working on when you start but this will likely evolve.
At the moment this role is focused on:
- Contributing to the design and build of our user support GenAI platform.
- Developing scalable AI solutions to enable other teams within Canva.
- Building key userfacing features for Ask Canva our AIpowered support chatbot.
- Driving incremental improvements to our AI platform and backend integration.
- Working closely with ML Engineers to introduce cuttingedge AI capabilities.
- Deeply integrating AI systems with Canvas ecosystem to better support users.
- Presenting opportunities in AI for the team to explore and implement.
Youre probably a match if you have:
- You have experience working with some of the tools in our frontend stack JavaScript HTML CSS React TypeScript MobX etc.
- An interest in GenAI LLMs and AIdriven customer support solutions.
- Pragmatic problemsolving skills and a passion for collaborative development.
- The ability to work in crossfunctional teams especially with ML Engineers.
- A love for solving complex problems and leveraging AI to enhance user experiences.
- A continuous learning mindset particularly in AI and ML technologies.
