DoD Clearance: SecretRaytheons Field Engineering team is looking for an oncall temporary Field Service Rep to provide test supportto one of our large programs located at various locations.
What You Will Do
- The candidate will work with a small team to maintain integrated ground segment equipment during flight tests.
- Perform maintenance and upgrades as well as troubleshooting of new and recurring problems.
- Create test procedures and perform engineering data analysis searching for system anomalies and performance trends.
- Act as liaison between local customer inplant engineer and program management on technical issues test schedules and system performance.
- Install and troubleshoot experimental HW/SW provide feedback to engineering and work with offsite engineering in a collaborative manner.
- Troubleshooting will include industry standard IT systems as well as program specific hardware software and procedures
- Work closely with customer representatives to provide status and integrate customer changes
Qualifications You Must Have
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience as a system administrator or development/support in the Linux Solaris Irix or other Unix environment
- Experience as Global Hawk Ground Stations Test Engineer
- Experience performing complex troubleshooting and analysis to correct system discrepancies
- Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Qualifications We Prefer
- Possess communication skills necessary for problem resolution with military/corporate customers and vendors.
- Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Strong teamwork skills Ability to interact productively with other Raytheon Technologies Field Engineers and customers in a diverse team setting.
- Work independently to develop timely and effective solutions to technical problems of various scopes and complexity.
Additional Information
Work rotating shifts may be required. Travel for backfills and long work hours are anticipated. Must be able to lift 40 pounds and able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

This is a temporary position of an undetermined length
The hourly rate for this role is $53 to $70. The compensation range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
