Job Description
Job Summary:
The Tate Center ChickfilA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Back of House Lead to join our leadership team. This role is essential in ensuring excellence in food safety kitchen systems and operational efficiency. The BOH Lead will play a key role in leading the kitchen team maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness and driving consistent execution of BOH procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead coach and develop the kitchen team to maintain operational excellence and uphold ChickfilAs brand and values.
- Manage kitchen operations including food preparation cooking packaging and sanitation standards.
- Monitor and track food costs and waste identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Build and maintain kitchen systems that enhance workflow consistency and team performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines health standards and company policies.
- Partner with the leadership team to execute training programs for BOH team members.
- Collaborate on scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels during peak and nonpeak hours.
- Set the tone for a positive and efficient kitchen environment through servant leadership.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of experience working at ChickfilA (required).
- Proven experience leading and managing in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Strong understanding of BOH operations including food cost tracking waste management and kitchen systems.
- Servanthearted leader with a passion for developing others.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays.
