About the role

Were seeking a strategic actionoriented Product Owner to join our team. You will play a critical role in defining and delivering digital and service solutions that empower individuals to better navigate their healthcare journeyaccessing the right care utilizing the best benefits and reducing friction in their healthcare experience.

As a Product Owner supporting our Pharmacy business you will translate business goals user needs and buyer needs into a clear and actionable product backlog. Working closely with engineering operations clinical experts and other key business stakeholders youll drive the development of features that improve outcomes for our members and maximize value for our clients.

Daytoday responsibilities include translating the business vision and strategy into meaningful features building and actively managing product backlogs documenting business requirements and creating supporting artifacts for crossfunctional alignment (e.g. journey maps wireframes service blueprints) reviewing completed features against acceptance criteria and gathering input/feedback to identify future opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving healthcare problems possess a strong understanding of the health care and pharmacy benefits space and have experience with delivering both service and technology solutions.

What youll do

  • Thoughtfully collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders to translate strategy into detailed user stories acceptance criteria and KPIs to ensure were delivering intended value
  • Support development of longterm product road maps aligned to strategic outcomes while managing stakeholder expectations across business units
  • Create welldefined features with quality documented requirements user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Actively manage and refine backlog with emphasis on evaluating features for prioritization based on value and effort criteria
  • Collaborate and participate closely with technology development teams responsible for delivery
  • Review completed features against strategic intent and acceptance criteria articulate rework or adjusted approach if necessary
  • Communicate roadmap progress and feature releases to internal stakeholders
  • Use user feedback analytics and metrics to proactively guide recommendations iterations and other decisions

What youll bring

  • 35 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager preferably in pharmacy benefit management health care or finance
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and tools (e.g. Jira Confluence)
  • Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized analytical and able to easily prioritize work
  • Familiarity with financial and impact analyses
  • Understanding of healthcare systems and pharmacy benefits terminology payerproviderPBM dynamics member engagement strategies
  • Administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint) Confluence/Jira IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom) and telephones efficiently
  • Experience working in HIPAAcompliant environments
  • Familiarity with EHRs benefits systems or clinical workflows
  • Experience with technical and operational integrations with 3rd parties
  • Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint) IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom) and telephones efficiently.
