Niyam is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team in support of our work with FEMA. We offer competitive compensation and benefits. This position is remote but may require occasional onsite meetings in DC.

Role and Responsibilities

• 
  Manage all aspects of (SFDC) including complex configuration customization and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations
• 
  Participate in application design configuration testing and deployment
• 
  Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing training and documentation
• 
  Utilize best practices to perform operational support enhancements bug fixes as needed to the platform
• 
  Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events incidents requests changes problems etc.
• 
  Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design support and practice development efforts
• 
  Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes enhancements and howto assistance

Qualification and Education Requirements

Required Skills

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
• 
  Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related equivalent
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
• Salesforce Certified App Builder
• 3 years of relevance Salesforce experience with Service Cloud
• 3 years of experience in Salesforce Development including declarative development Custom Objects Flows Apex Triggers Web Services Visualforce REST APIs SOAP Web Services and developing custom Lightning components
  
• 3 years of experience with web technologies (HTML 5 CSS 3 jQuery JavaScript)
• 2 years of experience with OO analysis and design experience
• 
  Experience working in Agile environment
• Experience using tools like JIRA Git Subversion
• 
  Excellent organizational verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

• 
  Familiarity with Software development life cycle (SDLC)
  
• 
  Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate key performance indicators to all levels of the company
• 
  Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• 
  Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
• 
  Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
• 
  Experience working with federal clients a plus
