Are you ready to take your career to new heights in the aerospace industry Collins Aerospace a leader in aviation technology is offering an exciting opportunity for a Stores Supervisor to join our fastpaced and innovative team. In this role you will play a crucial part in the production of highend aviation seating switches and lighting products for renowned airlines such as Qantas Etihad Emirates and British Airways.
This is your chance to be part of a closeknit team of professionals where you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the warehouse operations. This is a handson role fully involved in the daytoday operation within the warehouse ensuring all work is complete and planned. If youre passionate about working with precision have a strong eye for detail and want to contribute to the next generation of aviation technology we want you on our team!
What you will do:
- To lead guide develop and motivate warehouse operatives in their daytoday roles and to provide all basic training.
- Ensure correct prioritisation of workloads.
- Assign appropriate resources to facilitate the most cost effective and efficient operation.
- Compile and maintain all necessary records and reports update daily KPI Board
- Monitor and review working practices to maximise performance and productivity.
- Ensure the security of stock and ensure stock management/planning in line with procedures.
- Ensure safe working practices are always followed in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company policy.
Qualifications & Skills you must have:
- Previous Warehouse experience is essential
- Experience of setting and achieving KPIs
- Experience of stock movement and cycle counts
- Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential.
Qualifications and experience we prefer:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- PC & Systems literate good administrative skills
