Be an integral part of an agile team thats constantly pushing the envelope to enhance build and deliver topnotch technology products.
As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Equities Prime Financial Service you are an integral part of Core Engineering and Architecture group which drives the modenisation of applications across the group. This group drives various engineering efforts aligned to data engineering cloud migrations and adoption of AI4Tech within Prime Financial Services technology group. You would drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problemsolving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
- Provide regular technical guidance and direction to support the business and various technical teams.
- Develop secure highquality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Drive decisions that shape product design application functionality and technical operations and processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across more than one cloud technology and be keen to learn the business functions within PFS.
- Actively contribute to the engineering community by advocating for firmwide frameworks tools and practices within the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Influence peers and project decisionmakers to adopt and apply leadingedge technologies.
- Foster a team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient advanced experience in Java
- Handson experience in system design application development testing and ensuring operational stability.
- Proficiency in Java and cloud technologies including AWS services.
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with deep expertise in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile).
- Ability to independently tackle design and functionality challenges with minimal oversight.
- Practical experience with cloudnative technologies.
- Background in Computer Science Computer Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field.
- Experience in IaC like Terraform
- Expertise in software design and architecture.
- Experience with Python or JavaScript.
