Purpose:
Operate mills lathes and deburr with basic instruction and supervision. Inspect basic and intermediate features of aerospace and industrial system components ensuring conformance to engineering requirements specifications and special instruction
Essential Functions:
- Understand and operate basic function on conventional and CNC machines for production of aerospace and industrial components.
- Understand maintain and execute Donaldson Quality Policies and Procedures.
- Use inspection equipment to complete in process inspection and first article reports with some supervision.
- Perform basic machine maintenance as required.
- Inspect with some supervision manufactured product for uniformity conformance and record.
- Complies with all DOT HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
- Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Qualifications:
- One year of machining experience CNC conventional or deburr and/or CNC certificate.
- Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude in the use of basic hand tools and inspection equipment.
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprint features and machine shop routers.
- Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fastpaced work environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
- Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
Certifications/Licenses/Registrations:
- Machinist certification with a minimum of 320 hours strongly preferred.
