Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Databricks & Snowflake Data Architect. In this role you will provide inputs for planning activities to meet nonfunctional requirements in project performance engineering in customer discussions during requirement analysis with a knowledge of requirements elicitation and analysis tools and techniques like story boarding use case analysis agile user stories to understand system requirements and nonfunctional will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative highquality solutions. RequiredQualifications:
- Candidate must be located within the commuting distance ofRichardson Texasor Raleigh North Carolina orbe willing to relocate to this location. This position may require travel in the US
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply
- At least 11 years of Information Technology experience
- Hands on experience in architecting Cloud data solutions using Azure Synapse Databricks Python PySpark SQL
- Significant experience with Cloud Data lake technologies and complex data architecture and models
- Experience building and managing cloud data platforms
- Strong experience in building data ingestion data catalog and data analytics framework
- End to end Cloud Data Lake architecture design & implementation including data ingestion data modeling and data distribution
- At least 3years of Snowflake experience involved in architecting solutions
- Build data integrations between onprem/cloudbased systems.
- Good experience in endtoend implementation of data warehouse and data marts
- Experience and detailed knowledge with ETL Data Quality metadata management Data Engineering streaming data loads
- Experience designing and implementing complex solutions for distributed systems
- Experience in leading and mentoring teams in onshoreoffshore model.
- Good understanding ofdata warehousing concepts data integration data quality and data architecture
- Proven experience in Snowflake
- Experience in Relational Modeling Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data
- Strong knowledge and handson experience in SQL Unix shell scripting
- Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks
- Strong communication and Analytical skills
- Ability to work in teams in a diverse multistakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams and be able to manage the stake holders
- Experience and desire towork in a global delivery environment
