Crowne Plaza North Augusta is seeking a dynamic experienced and motivated individual for the position of Housekeeping Supervisor at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. This candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational & communication skills a strong proficiency in multitasking with hospitality sales experience essential.


Below are the Core Responsibilities that make up the priority functions and most important responsibilities of this position. These Core Responsibilities are divided into two categories Job Function and Professionalism and Style Expectations.


Following the Core Responsibilities is a Physical Requirements category that is also expected of all positions within StepStone Hospitality Inc.


Job functions describe the substance and most important responsibilities of the job.


1. Administration

Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift pick up and sign out key and return key when

reporting to office at end of shift.


2. Support

  • Open and close the department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper including assignment of room
  • boards keys and any other opening and closing requirements.
  • Take all incoming housekeeping calls and respond the guests needs.
  • Perform inventories of supplies and order for par levels
  • Log all missing items and maintain catalog of lost and found and ship or mail out claimed items to the guests.
  • Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.
  • Protect guest safety and wellbeing; be courteous to all guests and coworkers.
  • Ability to accurately use various office software.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guestsassociates and vendors.
  • Ability to accurately report information.
  • Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Attend required meetings.
  • Professionalism and Style Expectations
  • These are expected of every associate within StepStone Hospitality Inc.

3. Personal Effectiveness

  • Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly professionally and with care.
  • Adjusts to highpressure conditions and is open to change.
  • Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
  • Conducts himherself (acts and dresses) professionally at all times; sets standards for all associates.


4. Communication

  • Understands and communicates the StepStone Mission and Core values.
  • Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly effectively and professionally.
  • Actively listens to others.
  • Conveys company information decision or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
  • Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and coworkers.

Requirements

  • Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.
  • Pushing bending stooping upward reaching manual dexterity.
  • Hearing writing typing.
  • Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Additional responsibilities specific to you are: Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
  • Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
  • Fosse knowledge
  • High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education preferred.
  • CPR and first aid training preferred.
  • Additional language ability preferred.
