Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Temporary Assistant in our Human Resources department. This position organizes and maintains employee personnel files provides customer services to Moda employees and visitors inputs data into the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and assists team members in various other HR functions and projects.This is a fulltime onsite position in Downtown Portland Oregon.

Pay Range
$18.03 $20.18 hourly (depending on experience)
*Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

  • Required Skills Experience & Education:

    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
    3. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications HRIS databases.
    4. Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to listen and respond to information effectively.
    5. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    6. Ability to come into work on time.
    7. Maintain confidentiality and project a positive and professional business image.
    8. Possess problem solving and decisionmaking skills.

    Primary Functions:

    1. Maintains personnel files by scanning filing and organizing employee files.
    2. Provides timely accurate customer service to employees and visitors while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
    3. Enters employee information into HRIS databases.
    4. Responds to timesensitive employee communications.
    5. Assists and supports all HR team members with miscellaneous administrative tasks including sending birthday gifts coordinating bereavement baskets etc.
    6. Performs other duties as assigned.



    Working Conditions & Contact with Others

    • Office environment with extensive close PC and keyboard work constant sitting and phone work. Must be able to navigate multiple screens.
    • Internally with all departments management team and employees with frequently confidential information. Externally with vendors for VOEs and other employee requests.
