Job Description
Rochester NY FullTime Starting at $70000/year
Join a wellestablished highend luxury millwork and custom furniture manufacturer in Rochester NY. We are seeking a talented experienced and highly motivated Project Manager / Draftsperson to join our team. This is a dynamic role ideal for a detailoriented professional with strong AutoCAD and/or Inventor skills and a background in millwork home construction or custom furniture manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches verbal input and site visits.
- Translate design concepts into detailed technical millwork and furniture drawings using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with clients general contractors and design consultants to create revise and finalize plans.
- Interpret highend architectural construction documents and interior detailing with precision.
- Apply critical thinking and creativity to produce design solutions that are both functional and visually compelling.
- Maintain organized and uptodate project files on the server ensuring clear version control.
- Learn our product offerings to assist in the creation of accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Represent the company with professionalism while interacting with clients and highprofile accounts.
- Manage assigned projects from concept through completion ensuring efficient information flow across departments.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture Interior Design Industrial Design Mechanical/Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with AutoCAD; Inventor experience preferred or a strong willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and BOM processes.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project management team.
- Proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office (Word Excel) and general computer applications.
- Adaptive drawing style aligned with company standards.
- Professional demeanor with a customerfocused mindset.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Starting Salary: $70000/year (commensurate with experience)
