Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and solutionsdriven Electrical Engineer to join our operations team and play a key role in maintaining and optimizing production systems and electrical infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone with handson experience in manufacturing environments who is passionate about engineering problemsolving and continuous improvement.
The role involves supporting the daily operations of a busy production facility ensuring that electrical systems and equipment function safely efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems machinery and automated production lines

Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness

Design and implement electrical upgrades or modifications to meet evolving production requirements

Support the installation testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment and control systems
-
Ensure compliance with health safety and regulatory standards related to electrical systems
-
Maintain technical documentation including wiring diagrams maintenance records and specifications

Monitor energy consumption and propose efficiency improvements

Provide technical support during audits inspections and external assessments
Requirements:
-
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Proven experience working as an electrical engineer within a manufacturing or industrial setting

Strong knowledge of electrical systems automation controls and production line equipment

Familiarity with PLC programming and SCADA systems is a strong advantage

Excellent problemsolving and diagnostic skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Good understanding of safety regulations and standards related to electrical systems

Fluency in English; Maltese is considered an asset
