Job Description
Were seeking a CAD Technician (AutoCAD) to join the food retail team of Steve Ritchie Partnership an experienced clientfocused international team of architects based in East London (near Aldgate East Tube Station).
Known for its practical and thoughtful approach to design SRP delivers innovative enduring and commercially viable buildings across a range of sectors including Commercial Retail Masterplanning Mixed Use Residential Office & Industrial.
This new opportunity presents an exciting opening for an AutoCAD Technician with a keen eye for detail to contribute to fastmoving food retail Store Planning projects. Working alongside architects and other technicians you will translate datadriven insights into precise efficient and commercially viable store layouts. Using AutoCAD and Excel you will produce accurate 2D drawings and data sheets that help refine floor plans optimise customer flow and ensure layouts align with operational requirements brand standards and comply with UK building regulations.
This role offers the chance to work in a friendly and collaborative workplace within a structured and wellsupported environment. Prior store planning experience isnt necessary you will receive training to get up to speed.
Key Requirements: You should be a versatile attentive and organised professional with a CV that highlights:
- You are an AutoCAD Technician with a minimum of 2 years industry experience in the UK.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.
- Experience of playing an active role in live projects and collaborating with different disciplines.
- Firstclass communication skills (fluent English written & spoken).
- The ability to visualise illustrate and present ideas clearly.
- Strong technical and practical problemsolving skills.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
Any prior experience in Retail Planning / Store Planning is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Also please note we are only able to accept applications from those who have the right to live and work in the UK and who are based here permanently.
