As a Senior Insights Solutions Partner you will be responsible for understanding business priorities and developing content that contribute to Salesled revenue and/or deepen strategic advertiser partnerships through custom insights analysis. Working closely with the Sales team to identify the most significant questions posed by advertisers that can be addressed through data and research you will ideate and execute insights research projects leveraging internal behavioral data analysis qualitative/quantitative studies and syndicated research integration. You will distill findings to actionable recommendations and compelling insights stories.
What youll do:
- Translate data into compelling actionable narratives that factor in unique stakeholder input and business questions
- Design and execute the querying and analysis of firstparty platform data to make recommendations that impact UK Retail advertisers business objectives on Pinterest
- As a complement to firstparty analysis and storytelling leverage thirdparty syndicated data sources (comScore GlobalWebIndex Mintel) to find and provide wider context. In some instances partner with research agencies to commission custom research
- Work as a contributing member with Insights Solutions colleagues to tell holistic and compelling stories around a wide range of business opportunities on Pinterest
- Lead technical and operational projects and initiatives to improve the impact of the entire International Insights team. Collaborate with peers and stakeholders across multiple functions to achieve business objectives
- Manage effective working relationships with internal clients across multiple functions including sales marketing and creative teams. Acting not only as an analyst but as a business partner to key internal stakeholders
What were looking for:
- 7 years of relevant experience using data to solve business challenges and data storytelling to craft engaging and actionable insights designed to influence others
- 4 years of experience in data querying and manipulation in SQL is a must
- Ability to connect data analysis to real business questions/objectives in order to impact business decisions
- Experience contributing to research and insights planning with an ability to translate business needs into prioritised deliverables balancing multiple business needs and stakeholders
- Experience building presentations in Google Slides; demonstrated interest in data visualization is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to use data storytelling to craft engaging and actionable insights for a variety of professional audiences
- Track record of operating independently demonstrating databacked storytelling skills being detailoriented and delivering results in a highly organized yet engaging manner
- Experience in the digital space required; social media or advertising industry a plus
- Experience working quickly and efficiently in a fastpaced tech environment
- Excellent relationshipbuilding skills and a strong ability to work crossfunctionally as well as independently
- Experience in the Retail sector within an analytical or advertising function is a plus
- Experience with executing or commissioning quantitative research is a plus
- Experience leading programs or initiatives within their team or company is a plus
- An understanding of and passion for Pinterest
- Bachelors/Masters degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
