What You Will Do
The Airborne Effector Production (AEP) within Hardware function is responsible for electronics subsystems for all Airborne production products. This includes staff with RF Power Digital and mixed signal electronics experience. The job responsibilities of this AEP Section Leader position include managing and mentoring engineers who are Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) on various programs. The section leader will guide a section of 15 to 20 AEP engineers. This includes hiring staffing performance evaluations mentoring/coaching expense reports and timecard approvals. Section leader will also have leadership responsibility in a AEP programs. The responsibility is split between functional (10%20%) and program (80%90%) tasking.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science or Mathematics. (STEM degree)
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
- Experience with RF subsystem development including design analysis and/or test.
- Experience spearheading a technical team including but not limited to: role of task lead IPTL or Engineering Lead
Qualification We Value:
- MS in Engineering Science Mathematics or Equivalent
- Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle
- Experience in troubleshooting electronics systems
- Coaching teaching and/or mentoring skills
- Strong emotional intelligence skills (i.e. selfawareness selfmanagement empathy social awareness relationship management)
- Experience in creation and/or improvement of engineering development processes
- Excellent track record for working effectively and collaboratively in a diverse team environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- An active and inscope DoD Top Secret Clearance
- The ability to acquire a Special Access Programs Clearance
