Job Description

Position Summary

Concordia University seeks qualified applicants for the parttime position of Adjunct Faculty to teach Physics Laboratory in the Physical Sciences Department of the School of Arts & Sciences on the Mequon Wisconsin campus. Applicants must be qualified to teach undergraduate physics both calculus and noncalculus based.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach Physics laboratory courses.
  • Update teaching materials such as lab handouts as needed.
  • Grade lab reports and submit grades in Canvas.
  • Provide a quality learning experience for students each semester.
  • Collaborate effectively with the instructor(s) who is/are teaching lecture sections for the same students.
  • Report to the department chair.
  • Perform instructionrelated duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission policies and procedures of the university.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

A masters degree in a related field is required doctorate preferred. Candidates must possess effective teaching skills. Teaching experience at the high school or undergraduate level is beneficial.
