Overall Purpose: Optimizes procurement strategies by managing negotiating monitoring and sourcing vendor and subcontractor contracts to ensure costeffective and efficient supply chain operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead negotiations for vendor and subcontractor contracts manage contract modifications and ensure compliance with terms and conditions to align with organizational goals.
Procurement Strategy Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and costeffectiveness including market research and sourcing new suppliers.
Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors assess performance and handle commercial contract issues including licensing agreements invoicing and receivable issues.
Risk Management and Compliance: Identify potential supply chain risks develop mitigation strategies and ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws regulations and corporate policies.
Performance Monitoring and Process Improvement: Continuously monitor procurement performance metrics prepare reports for strategic decisionmaking and identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Contribution: An experienced professional with advanced interdisciplinary knowledge resolving difficult and complex issues using broad professional concepts. Guides others applying advanced principles and company practices. Leads moderate sized projects (or parts of larger projects) with strategic value. Education/Experience: Bachelors degree (BS/BA) desired. 3 years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
