Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts providing exceptional customer service and assisting in business growth and retention. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Evaluate clients insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewals to clients
- Coordinate policy changes endorsements and claims and ensure timely and accurate processing
- Analyze and review policy documents and endorsements for accuracy
- Stay informed about industry trends market changes and insurance products to provide clients with the most relevant advice and solutions
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue business growth opportunities
- Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies to achieve account retention and growth goals
- Adhere to industry regulations and internal policies procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager with expertise in managing accounts ranging from $0$100k $100k$500k and $500k
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products coverages and risk management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Proficient in insurance industry software and Microsoft Office applications
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems
- Relevant insurance designations such as AAI CIC or CRM preferred
Daytoday
- Communicating with clients and underwriters to address inquiries and resolve issues
- Developing and presenting insurance proposals and renewal options
- Reviewing policy documents endorsements and claims for accuracy
- Collaborating with the sales team to identify and pursue business growth opportunities
- Adhering to industry regulations and internal policies
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and changes to ensure clients receive uptodate advice and solutions
