Our team consists of licensed Professional Engineers (PE) certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) certified professional with Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) licensed General Building Contractor and other industry designations. We can provide entitlement development design procurement construction management project management expert witness and litigation support services on a variety of building types. Our experienced team have provided these services to successfully deliver various facilities for public school districts college districts universities commercial developers hospitality owners multinational CM/PM consultants and other valued clients.

Job Summary

This is a fulltime position with Los Angeles Unified School District. The ideal candidate for the Program Scheduler position with the Los Angeles Unified School District is a highly experienced professional with at least six years of scheduling expertise on complex construction projects preferably in educational or public works environments. They possess advanced proficiency in Primavera 19.12 and Microsoft Office Suite and have a solid understanding of both DesignBidBuild and DesignBuild project delivery methods. With a bachelors degree in engineering architecture or construction management the perfect candidate is a proactive problemsolver who excels at developing maintaining and analyzing detailed construction schedules. They are a clear communicator highly organized and collaborative capable of building strong working relationships across teams while upholding scheduling best practices and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains program schedules identifying relationships logic milestones and constraints for construction projects of various types.
  • Monitors and actively participates in project and program scheduling issues while administering best practices and standards.
  • Obtains accurate and timely program schedule updates from project teams and performs QA/QC on information received.
  • Creates and develops conceptual whatif schedules for multiple project types including large complex multiyear projects.
  • Prepares adhoc reports and analyses as directed by management

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Six (6) years full time paid professional experience in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor preferably working on multiple educational facilities or public works projects
  • Proficiency in Primavera 19.12 or above and MS Office Suite
  • Experience with projects using DesignBidBuild and DesignBuild project delivery methods
  • Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organizational and planning skills

Required Education:

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelors degree in engineeringarchitecture or construction management
