- 7 years of experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)
- Senior IT Program Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages the SAP GTS migration project including but not limited to the following activities:
- Defines the project charter develops governance structure prepares detailed project plan monitors the program/project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
- Conduct scoping planning and design workshop engaging business & cross functional teams
- Organizes crossfunctional activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
This role is most common in a matrix type organization:
- Requires a technical background with SAP GTS implementation or migration experience to complete its overall project management responsibility
- Ability to conduct meeting with executive leadership team during different phases of the project
- Defines direction adaption to change requirements while conquering obstacles as well as managing business organization plans and knowing where to shift.
Education and Experience
- 810 years of experience in managing SAP implementation/ upgrade projects including 23 full life cycle implementations
- Bachelors degree with certification Project Management professional
- Experience in adopting PMI or advanced project methodologies in SAP projects preferable in GTS implementation
- Experience in managing scoping design build test and production cutover phases of projects
- Excellent communication skills to articulate & present periodic project status highlighting the issues & risks and action plans
- Familiarity with Global Trade Sales and Logistics business processes would be a plus
- Strong English verbal and written skills
- Strong organizational skills and eagerness to drive deliverables to closure
- Selfstarter and proactive including managing deliverables able to work independently understanding timelines and deadlines with minimal guidance
