Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented individual to join our Finance team as our new Head of Accounting & Financial Operations.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fastpaced environment contributing tokey financial processes such as budgeting forecasting reporting and analysis. The idealcandidate will possess strong analytical skills a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problemsolving. Youll be working closely with stakeholders across the business to support strategic decisionmaking and ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
Managing audits and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Financial reporting and compliance.
Accounting operations.
Financial controls and governance.
Cash flow and treasury management.
Team leadership and development.
Process improvement and technology.
Partnership and collaboration.
Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field is essential.
Recognised accounting qualifications (ACA ACCA CMA CPA or equivalent).
At least 810 years of progressive accounting experience with 35 years in a
leadership role.
Proven expertise in financial reporting auditing and compliance (exposure to IFRS and US GAAP desirable).
A proactive approach combined with strong attention to detail.
Ability to lead and mentor those around you.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (NetSuite/SAP preferable).
Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
Agility with a problemsolving mindset recommending best practice and adapting to current business context.
Strong working knowledge of accounting and operations processes / practices and an appreciation of how to evolve towards best in class using systems and automation.
A good sense of humour.
