Where youll work:
Depending on the needs of your business area we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week and to go to OVO Connection events inperson.
Youll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices Bristol Glasgow or London; unless your role requires fieldbased work. Each hub has accessible spaces to park your laptop is designed to inspire people help them connect and bring big ideas to life.

You will be working within the Commercial Performance team where our key focus is to ensure the Commercial function delivers our customer numbers targets driving value as we encourage our customers on the Path to Zero.
This role in a nutshell:
You will be supporting the Commercial Performance team drive value in the pursuit of Path to Zero identifying new trends and opportunities by preparing accurate reports and analysis that unlock insight and help OVO test hypotheses and drive change where there is value.
Your key outcomes will be:
- Preparing the weekly and monthly performance reports with all sales and retention related data.
- Tracking and updating all key actions from key meetings
- Updating rolling forecasts each month with the latest actuals and running through the latest sales and retention submissions.
- Constantly reviewing all key forecasting assumptions understanding rationale for changes from the business as well as validating the data with actuals.
- Managing the forecasting model configuration to ensure it reflects committed or emerging commercial strategies
- Developing decision making models to assist the wider commercial teams in ensuring decisions are made to optimise longterm value including the allocation of spend for CAC.
- Supporting the Commercial Performance team on adhoc requests.
- Being a key data expert for the team ensuring data consistency with the BI & customer retention team.
Within your first 3 months month youll:
- Have a working understanding of our existing models and reporting structures
- Have improved some of our newer dashboard reports
- Have an understanding of our data environment and built a network with other data analyst
- Be able to independently run our two key weekly and monthly reports
Youll be a successful Senior Data Analyst at OVO if you

- High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheet and experience with visualisation tools (e.g. Power B.I Tableau)
- Good to advanced knowledge of SQL and other data retrieval tools
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to produce highquality deliverables.
- Strong problem solving analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with large data sets and to synthesise information and draw meaningful conclusions
- Ability to collaborate with others and work with a high degree of autonomy
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment where prioritisation is required
- Excellent presentation and communication skills able to articulate results clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable navigating change and uncertainty with a flexible working attitude.
- Experience and knowledge within the energy sector will be an advantage
- Demonstrable experience of using data to highlight areas for improvement would be set you apart

Well pay you between 34620 and 40000 depending on your specific skills and experience.
