JOB DESCRIPTION
- We are seeking a skilled Production Planning Specialist to design create and maintain production planning tools for Veepee. Your role involves optimizing the tools streamlining processes and ensuring accurate data inputs and outputs. You will lead the simplification and automation of the tools collaborate with software developers and stay updated on industry trends. Additionally you will provide training conduct analysis and act as a subject matter expert in production planning metrics and calculations.
TASKS
- Design create and maintain the production planning tools for Veepee :
- Design create and maintain the production planning tools
- Assist in the development and enhancement of the tools to optimize the production planning process
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data inputs and outputs in the tools
- Identify and troubles hoot any issues or bugs in the tools to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Lead the simplification and automation of these tools :
- Identify opportunities to streamline and simplify the production planning tools
- Define the automation of the manual processes within the tools
- Implement best practices and efficient methodologies to optimize the functionality and usability of the tools
- Conduct regular analyses to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements and automation
- Collaborate with software developers or IT professionals to enhance and customize production planning tools as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends best practices and emerging technologies related to production planning and supply chain management.
- Training sessions and new processes :
- Assist in conducting training sessions for the production planning team on the usage and functionalities of the tools
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members addressing any questions or issues they may have
- Develop training materials and documentation for the tools.
- Prepare adhoc analysis and present results :
- Conduct onetime analysis requests from stakeholders to provide insights into production planning performance and trends
- Analyze data from different sources including the production planning tools to generate meaningful reports and visualization
- Present analysis results in a clear and concise manner highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations
- Help teams understand metrics and calculations :
- Act as a subject matter expert in production planning metrics and calculations
- Educate and guide team members on how to interpret and utilize the metrics to drive decisionmaking
- Provide support in validating and troubleshooting data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
MUST HAVE skills
- Proactive positive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Advanced in using Microsoft Excel and ideally Google sheets
- Experience in programming languages such as Python SQL and RPA
- Bachelors degree or higher in engineering or programming
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Metabase LookerStudio MicroStrategy Tableau) is a plus
- Adaptability in a dynamic multicultural setting
- Businessoriented mindset
- English advanced required; knowledge of Spanish and French is a plus.
