Summary
Varex is seeking to expand its capabilities in designing PCBs and physics packages for its line of charged particle accelerators and Cargo Inspection Systems. The successful candidate will design and analyze electrical systems equipment and packaging. The individual will conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs as well as direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design testing and prototype fabrication. The successful candidate will be hands on and analytic as well as process oriented.Job Description
Required Core Competencies:
- High Voltage (up to 30 kV) power supplies.
- Control circuits.
- Printed Circuit Board Design
Familiarity with:
- Charged Particle Accelerators.
- SAP
- Product Life Cycle Management.
- Engineering Change processes revision control and configuration management.
Highly Desired Skills:
- Modulator design.
- Control Circuit Design.
Desired Education:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of related experience or M.S. with 3 years of related experience.
