Job Description
In this role you may be scheduled to work as a casino cashier some shifts ($16hr plus tips Est $19hr on average) and some shifts supervising at $18hr. Best in class benefits will be offered after 90days of employment. Leadership and high volumne cash handling experience required.
Responsible for supervising the operation of Casino Cashier personnel during an assigned shift. Verifies funds of assigned cashiers and performs all related duties during that shift; maintains responsibility for all transactions within assigned cashier offices; issue and retrieve keys directly monitors coaches and counsels cashiers as necessary. Handles all customer disputes and questions and acts as source of information to all customer inquiries; ensures customer satisfactions and adheres to all gaming regulations and other governmental agencies as applicable.
The term management includes duties such as interviewing; training; directing the work of employees; maintaining production; appraising employees productivity and efficiency for purposes of recommending promotions or other changes (evaluations); handling employees grievances and complaints; disciplining employees; planning work; providing for safety and security; and monitoring or implementing legal compliance matters.
Excellent communication skills; written and organizational leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to work closely with coworkers within the cashier department as well as all other departments. General business and accounting knowledge. High School graduate or equivalent. Good math skills. Minimum of two years supervision.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require long periods of sitting standing and typing at a computer keyboard. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis reach above head occasionally bend below knee level occasionally and rotate torso periodically.

Licensing and Certification Required:
Employees may be required to obtain a Missouri Gaming Commission license. The initial license is paid for by the employee through payroll deduction. All subsequent renewals for the license are paid by Harrahs North Kansas City
