Physical Demands
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : This position generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines. Requires the ability to sit or stand in a classroom during extended instructional periods. May require pushing pulling and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance. May require standing for extended period of time to perform work responsibilities with regular walking.
Required Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Career Technology Education 1. The minimum requirement is an associates degree or a related field or 6000 hours of tested experience. Possess a baccalaureate degree or higher in healthcare related field or possess a baccalaureate degree in any area of study if at least 18 of the credit hours completed were in the career and technical field of instruction in which the instructor teaches classes. 2. Possess an associate degree in the career and technical education field of instruction in which the instructor is teaching if such degree is considered terminal for that field of instruction and have at least 3000 hours of recent and relevant work experience in the occupational area or related occupational area in which the instructor teaches classes. 3. Have special training and at least 6000 hours of relevant tested experience in the occupational area or related occupational area in which the instructor teaches classes if the instructor possesses less than a baccalaureate degree in the area or related area of study or occupational area in which the instructor is teaching classes and the instructor does not meet the requirements of subparagraph 24.5(1)a(2)
