The Role:
You and Your Team:
Were growing the team and as a result we are looking for a securityfocused DevOps/Platform Engineer to help us continue to grow and tune the Snoop Platform.
Youll primarily be working with AWS at scale to build infrastructure that empowers the wider team to move faster and smarter with security integrated from the start. Our goal is to enable the organisation to innovate and deliver without compromising on security or efficiency.

As a DevSecOps Engineer some of the key responsibilities are:
Collaborating across multiple disciplines and teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement in security and to promote DevOps and SRE principles.
Developing and maintain Infrastructure as Code and scripts for automating infrastructure provisioning and management. Optimizing them with security scalability and reliability in mind.
Contributing to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate software build testing and deployment processes.
Integrating security practices and tools into CI/CD pipelines automated testing and deployment processes to identify and address vulnerabilities.
To set up monitoring logging and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues in realtime.
Implementation of security best practices including access control vulnerability scanning and secure authentication
Be a subject matter expert on the organisations incident response plan and aid in response to security incidents ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact.
Identify security risks conduct vulnerability assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
What Were Looking For:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools such as Terraform ARM templates or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure consistently and at scale.
CI/CD Pipelines: Proficiency in designing maintaining and securing continuous integration and deployment workflows (e.g. Azure DevOps GitLab CI Jenkins).
Cloud Platform Management: Handson experience with cloud environments such as Azure AWS or GCP including governance cost optimization and security configuration.
Automation Scripting & Tooling: Strong scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell Python Bash) to automate workflows and enforce repeatability.
Containerisation & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Azure AKS.
Monitoring & Alerting: Ability to implement and maintain monitoring logging and alerting solutions (e.g. Prometheus Grafana Azure Monitor).
DevSecOps Practices & Toolchains: Understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and toolsets that integrate security into DevOps (e.g. Snyk Aqua SonarQube).
Security Scanning & Vulnerability Assessment: Knowledge of static and dynamic analysis tools and the ability to integrate them into pipelines.
Incident Response: Familiarity with security incident response processes including detection containment eradication and recovery.
