Haymes Paint has experienced extraordinary and unprecedented strategic and emergent growth since 2019. Based on the ongoing and future direction of IT there is a genuine desire and imperative to ensure contemporary scalable and effective IT transformation that is grounded in the unique Haymes Paint culture. We are transforming our Business Intelligence systems and need an experienced Power BI report writer to work with the business to define reporting requirements create reports and upskill SMEs to become selfsufficient. This position is an integral part of the team to capture business process collect requirements and communicate effectively to take senior leadership through the journey.
The role is initially offered as a sixmonth contract.
About the role:
- Abbotsford or Ballarat based.
- Design author publish and maintain Power BI reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and functionality of reports.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features capabilities and best practices.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Power BI report writer.
- A flair for designing visually compelling and consistently themed reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in creating calculations with DAX.
