Job Description
TITLE: C Software Engineer (US Citizenship is REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE:$60/hr $68/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)
CLEARANCE: Secret obtainable within reasonable time based on requirements
LOCATION: ONSITE in Scottsdale AZ 85257
SCHEDULE: 9/80 (every other Friday off)

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
As a Software Engineer youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development and test of specialized solutions that are used by our warfighters worldwide on patrol in hostile environments whether urban canyon mountains or jungles or even the Arctic Circle. The system provides a familiar cellular phonelike service allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system. Not only do we maintain the current live system but you will help add new capabilities enhancements and replaces end of life components.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lead the software development process
Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success
Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
Embedded realtime operating systems (VxWorks Integrity PetaLinux)
Significant C programing experience.
Agile experience preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
Requires a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of jobrelated experience or a Masters degree plus 3 years of jobrelated experience.
