Job Description
- Assist with planning and leading daily swim practices including technique instruction endurance training and race preparation.
- Provide handson coaching and feedback to swimmers of varying ages and skill levels.
- Help supervise swimmers to ensure safety and adherence to pool rules and team policies.
- Maintain a professional and positive relationships with athletes parents and staff.
- At least 18 years of age. (Required)
- Current CPR/First Aid & Lifeguard Certification (or willingness to obtain). (Required)
- Strong knowledge of swim strokes techniques and training principles. (Required)
- USA Swimming or equivalent coaching certification (Preferred)
- Experience coaching at the agegroup high school or collegiate level. (Preferred)
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
- Successful completion of a background and driver check in accordance with Coe College policy.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships in a diverse collaborative team atmosphere
- Commitment to excellent customer and/or student service.
- Demonstrated ethical and responsible decision making.
- Consistent attendance and accountability necessary to meet position objectives.
- Parttime position. Hourly wage is based upon qualifications and experience.
- Upon conditional offer of employment a successful completion of a background and driver check will be required.
