About the Role
Duties
- Prepare cold foods and ingredients for cooking (weighing measuring mixing portioning chopping and storing food)
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards presentation standards and food preparation checklist establishing priority items
- Monitor food quality while preparing food
- Serve food in proper portions onto dishes plates mugs and bowls ensuring proper plate appearance
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knives and equipment
Skills & Experience
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Cookery
- Im Alert Food Safety Certification (from City of Perth)
- Unrestricted working rights for Australia
