We are seeking an experienced and strategicminded Principal Tech BD to join the AWS Solution GTM team and work closely with senior leaders to ensure that we are aligned and working as single organization to achieving our strategic goals. This role will be responsible for GotoMarket acceleration and is pivotal in driving the successful implementation of key strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives to achieve our vision as a single organization.
This function will Accelerate the AWS GTM Solutions strategy (as defined by our Operating Plan) through strategic initiatives that transform our organizational capability and operational excellence ultimately helping AWS Solution scale. This position requires a strong understanding of the internal and external Partner business dynamics AWS field enablement and planning process and the ability to make important datadriven decisions and implement strategies that enhance performance.
You must be uncomfortable with statusquo curious about new programs and initiatives impacting our customers partners and employees and possess the ability to ask the right questions. This function needs to have a bias for action make informed decisions demonstrating a proactive approach to projects and tasks. This leader must be comfortable taking risks and raising the bar for new ways of doing things. Strong analytical Think Big Invent & Simplify skills are crucial for success in this position.
Key job responsibilities
Accelerate revenues for AWS Solution identifying the right initiatives to drive a single and unified view of AWS Partner strategy by closely coordinating with the BU strategic initiative leaders to maintain cross organizational awareness and surface challenges disconnects and opportunities.
Work with the different Strategic Initiatives teams both inside and outside APO to set priorities for achieving AWS Solutions strategy and drive seamless integration of crossarea initiatives fostering a cohesive approach towards the successful execution and optimization of strategic initiatives.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance overall strategy deployment effectiveness.
Work closely with the Operations team by offering strategic insights and business expertise and facilitate the smooth execution of the rhythm of the business.
Dive deep into the business dynamics of partners by collecting meaningful data anecdotes insights and trends both through internal data metrics and meetings with partners and customers and participation in partnerfacing meetings. The output of these interactions will facilitate the team ability to align and influence the APO strategy ensuring that customer and partner needs remain at the center of our strategy and strategic initiatives.
Partner with stakeholders across the WWSO and AWS Solutions Service organization to communicate strategy goals and progress effectively across all levels of the organization. Foster alignment and understanding among team members and stakeholders.

10 years of experience in strategy deployment strategic planning or a related role.
Experience in communicating complex concepts to crossfunctional audiences.
Excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills to work effectively with executives and stakeholders at all levels.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
