Summary:
As the Warehouse Manager of Addison Fasteners distribution center you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of all warehouse and distribution activities. You will lead a team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders optimize inventory management and maintain a high level of operational excellence. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in warehouse management logistics and team development within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily operations of the distribution center including receiving warehousing picking packing and shipping of finished goods.
- Inventory Management: Implement and maintain accurate inventory control systems and procedures. Oversee regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Logistics and Transportation: Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities ensuring costeffective and timely delivery of goods. Collaborate with carriers and logistics providers to optimize shipping routes and costs.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency order accuracy and ontime delivery. Analyze performance data and implement strategies for improvement.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the distribution centers budget ensuring costeffective operations and resource allocation.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing sales customer service and other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges that arise in a timely and effective manner.
Skills:

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 57 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or distribution with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing or fastener industry environment (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience implementing and improving warehouse processes and systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
